Jeremy Best joined the firm of Prim & Mendheim in 2024 and is admitted to practice in Alabama and Texas, serving clients of both states. A native of Texas, Jeremy and his wife recently moved to Dothan, AL and his practice areas include personal injury, estate planning, and mediation. Prior to founding his law firm in Texas, Jeremy proudly served as an Assistant District Attorney in San Antonio, TX. During his time as a prosecutor, he litigated a wide variety of cases and has taken numerous cases to a jury verdict. He has experience dealing with criminal cases ranging from Class C misdemeanors to 1st degree felonies.

During law school, Jeremy had the opportunity to clerk in New Braunfels, TX for nearly 2 years before becoming an associate attorney for the firm he had been working for. Working in a smaller city provided Jeremey with the opportunity to explore various practice fields as the firm was a one-stop-shop for most legal issues. This exposure to different legal areas helped to spark his passion for the law and fuel his dream of using his legal expertise to maximize the good he could do for his clients.
 

Jeremy has had a passion for service from a young age and is dedicated to using his experience to positively impact the clients of Prim & Mendheim. Jeremy intends to continue serving, advocating for, educating and empowering those who might otherwise feel intimidated
by the legal world.
